my ash catcher came with a slightly off angled 18mm joint..when I took the beaker off my pipe, joint separated (broke!)..was this my bad?...didn't want to bother anyone....so I guess i'll save up again and buy another one...I hope this one doesn't have a WEAK JOINT...love this company! in wash. st. as I am!..i should have contacted pipesdaddy, sorry I didn't..bruce in seattle 63 retired and new to the world of glass!

Does everything you want an ashcatcher to do. It catches ashes and the six arm tree is nice. Note: The tree is the same size in the 14 and 18mm. This means it chokes an 18mm opening down and won't clear as quickly.
